The scientific laboratory was founded in 1990. Research focused on studying changes in markers of bone remodeling, indices of protein, glycoprotein and mineral metabolism, osteogenic peptide levels, enzymatic profile of organs and tissues, intensity of lipid peroxidation processes and the antioxidant protection system state while administering local biologically active compounds into bone tissue and vital organs (kidney, liver) in various pathological conditions (experimental primary and secondary hepatic osteoporosis, oxidative stress, experimental nephropathy).
The obtained results allow the optimization of biochemical diagnosis methods of different diseases, identification of laboratory parameters necessary for early diagnosis (which is more accurate and less expensive), monitoring the treatment efficiency and establishing the therapeutic effects of local remedies obtained from local raw materials at lower cost.
